We just returned from our week on the houseboat. It was AWESOME! We were a little nervous because of all of the news of the water level being lowered. It didn't bother us AT ALL. As a matter of fact.....there were ALOT less boats....almost no debris and very beautiful. Our only concern now is trying to get a boat reserved for next year. We have reserved our boat along with friends of ours for the week of July 4th for the last 5 or 6 years.....but we have had no luck at all this year. We have called EVERY Monday morning at 8:30 SHARP. With no luck yet!

We returned on 22nd from LC The lake was beautiful and clear; the service was excellent; the boat was clean. And it was so good to get back to Grider Hill where we started 30 years ago. I sent a thank you note to Grider. Hope the rest of you have it as good as we did. We did not cruise just used the little boat for ice etc. but we used a ton of ice and gas to keep refrig. running and to stay cool

Can't understand why there's only 3 replies on here and so many viewers.
How many IYC members are still out there???
How many have a reservation for this summer?
Come on let's have a count
The fact that we never learned about all the members from IYC was a broken part of our agreement
The fact that we've not been asked to vote on last proposal about reduced number of boats and early termination af our contract is just the latest of several

I am very interested in getting legal advice regarding this "club" we have invested in. We are all so busy and just wanted this to be a fun , vacation, program but now it's time to find our our rights and recourse. We can't sit by and one by one give up our asset. I have not paid the maintenance fee yet and would rather put the money toward a lawsuit if necessary. After all doesn't one of our "members" own Grider Hill Dock now?
